Hi all
I have a boarded attic with loads of stuff that I don't really want to move and inset lights that are rather hot so I have moved away the insulation from above them. I want to do some additional loft insulation - it's a bungalow by the way. I spoke to a friendly building inspector who suggested tri-iso 10 - it doesn't have the proper certification yet so is still relatively cheap - and to tack it to the rafters rather than the joists. It's obviously more expensive than putting extra mineral wool across the joists, but would be easier for me to manage. I've read all the technical stuff but noticed other forums saying that it does not perform as well as it says on the tin. Has anyone got views?
Thanks
Jonks
