Maybe I'm not searching correctly but I'm doing my head in on this.

We removed a laminate floor revealing a reasonably decent parquet floor with a wenge strip border. Some of the wenge is in a terrible state (and some had been removed and replaced with filler!).

First question is whether the border is wenge. It's dark throughout its thickness but seems very similarly grained to the rest of the floor.

Assuming it is wenge I can't for the life of me find replacement strips. They are 1/2" wide but only 1/4" thin. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh, and does anyone know if the main blocks are oak just by the photo. I've got a sample from someone who can cut some blocks to size for me. It looks right but I just want to be sure.

Many thanks

in "new money" our parquet manufacturer can do 6.2 x 10mm or 6.2 x 6.2 (1/4" x 1/4") in solid wenge.

Hard to tell from an image where the blocks seem to be covered with a original finish and does not show many blocks to compare
