I need to get a sheet of plastic to make a loft hatch. My loft hole is irregular shaped.

I asked in the wood forum for advice, but just realised I don't even need a hinge. All I need is a flat piece. I would prefer light plastic as opposed to wood.

The loft hatches I see all are made from plastic on the outside.

I've tried ebay. No luck.

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies guys.

>> Why not use ply?
The previous one dropped off. Could have caused a serious accident.
If possible, I want to avoid a heavy piece of wood.
Ply is OK. Plastic, if I can get, is better. (My assumption!)

@jj4091 that's awesome. I don't think it's what I need. But... they'll definitely be useful for other usage.
woodsheets.com seem to offer lots in their pictures.
But the only colour available is 'Wood Finish'.

Would love to be able to make one of these (pic from their website):

what are the dimensions of the hole, and in what respect is it a strange shape?

Just change the shape of the hole, much easier, plastic is a very poor choice and will look cack.Fire hazard , would you like dripping molten plastic on your head.?
