Which 12v lighting to purchase please?

I'm going with the battery idea to light my garage - just cant do with the noise or fumes from a gen and petrol is so expensive.

I just need 1 or 2 decent lamps to run on 12v. Was thinking about a couple of these:

IHNI which is better - the eBay one looks more versatile with its stand and hook, or if you want it on a wall you could use a couple of tool clips.

Wire them in parallel.
