I need to sharpen the top plates on my, awesomely powerful, Titan TTB355CHN Chainsaw.

Chain gauge 0.050'. Chain pitch 3/8".

I think it's one of these:

Apparently: Chamfer "chisel" cutters have an angular shape with twin cutting corners that offer outstanding performance along with durability and easy, forgiving maintenance comparable to round-corner chain.

Exactly what tool I need?

I'm not sure what you mean by top plates.
But, you can't just use the round file to sharpen the chain. You'll also need to take the top of the little tooth on top of the chain (rakers), between each cutting tooth. That's the one that cleans out the groove ready for the next tooth to cut. there's a little gadget for that too (depth guage), it makes sure you have it at the correct height.
It's shown in kit the link.

as stievno says you also need a flat file and depth gauge or it wont matter how sharp your cutting teeth are.
