I’m looking at replacing the stopcock and drain cock (15mm) in my kitchen and I am considering these choices:
http://www.screwfix.com/search.do;j...UCSTHZOCFGA?_dyncharset=UTF-8&fh_search=15440 or: http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plumbing/Valves/DZR+Stopcock+15mm/d20/sd2696/p51931

My query is which draincock to use? I’ve seen type A and type B for light and heavy use? (I’m guessing type A heavy use as it’s the main water riser but I don’t want to rely on guesswork ..)
Are all makes of stop/draincocks the same and should I buy the most expensive one?

Thanks for your advice

Type A usually have an extra 'o' ring in them to help stop them leaking when draining.
