which eletric mitre saw?

I am after some advice on the different types of eletric mitre saws there out there. I have been looking at them but some of the wording becomes a little confusing. compound mitre pull saw, sliding compound? radial arm?

Sorry if i bin a bit confusing, either a reply with the information or a link to a site which goes through them.

compound ablle to cut angles on two plains at once[left or right hand rotation and blade at an angle as well

pull saw the blade and motor travels towards you whilst cutting[on runners]

chop saw pull the cutter down with a chopping action accross the grain

rip or table saw cutting allong the grain [usualy]you push the wood towards the blade
