We are just starting to plan our new kitchen. We are going to have a new hob and oven and wondered what others would recommend. The only thing we are certain of is that we want electric. We are thinking of Neff but they seem very expensive. Are thay that good and what else would people recommend.

Advice gratefully received

Thanks

Just my opinion hope some use to you,

Neff bosch and siemens are the same company and are nice to work on you pay for what you get very reliable and not too flimsy and noisy.

I have a siemens double oven.

I went for the double as you have a back up if the main oven fails.

You can also use the grill at the same time as using the main oven.
ie cooking sausages on the grill, then while bacon cooks the sausages are keeping warm in main oven.

Gas hobs are good as you can boil a cuppa tea in a power cut.

Electric hobs normally need a seperate 30amp supply.
Double ovens need their own 30amp supply
single ovens normally plug into wall socket but check current rating before buying.

Induction hobs can be very expensive to purchase and repair. you will need special saucepans too.

you're determined not to have a gas hob

they're much better.
