Hi all. I want to do some pointing on my cottage, its 200 years old built with soft sandstone. I have read and agree that I best use a lime based mortar, will this be hydraulic or hydrated lime mortar, it seems to me to be hydrated Lime, BUT, I have had 2 builders merchants in Carlisle tell me its Hydraulic mortar. Any help please.
