Hello

I'd be very obliged if anyone could offer some advice....

I am fitting an electric shower and there are two pipes from which I can take mains water, either the cold water pipe that fills the cold water tank in the loft or the second option is to take if from a pipe which feeds another existing electric shower on the first floor.

It would be easier to go from the pipe feeding the cold water tank, but I am wondering if that will result in lower pressure as the pipe has to go all the way up into the loft and then back down again (hope that makes sense).

I guess in summary I am trying work out which one will have the best pressure.

Thanks for any advice

Sam

It depends what else those feeds go to but it shouldn't be critical.
Electric showers only take about 4 litres a minute and your mains supply (try the kitchen tap) should provide more like 20.
