Which ridge tiles

Hi there,

I am building a hip to gable loft conversion. Could anyone clarify for me what ridge tiles are required, considering ventilation under building regs. Also, is it a requirement to use breathable felt from the ridge to the dormer ceiling?

For a hip to gable loft conversion, breathable felt isn't a requirement but it is best practice.
