I'm doing a two year part time tiling course at college , and want to buy a tile cutter but don't know which rubi to go for ? i'm will to spend up to £250 , so which one is best ? TS , TS Plus , TI-S or TR-S
You'll need a few cutters if you're getting into tiling, I have a smallish TS for my day to day cuitting, a TX for larger tiles and high end porcelain or any repetative 45 degree cuts , a smallish wet cutter for ceramic, porc and some stone and finally a DW200 LPS radial for big stone jobs.
....and I probably do about 25% of the work of a full time tiler.
dont use rubi, but check the ..tradetiler website mate..
there are other good cutters out there to.
as bathstyle as said tho you will need "some" more to, but just start out on small jobs get some ££ behind you then look into other tools.
best off bud.
