Always used Dow cornering 785 but wondered about ct1, and I know it’s not plumbing but it’s to block a few holes in the car ?
Thanks

I have no idea if this would work well; but I just wondered if a roof and gutter sealant may be more appropriate for use in a vehicle?

If I'm just filling in silly wee holes and nothing important, I just use the stuff from the Pound Shop.

Thanks everyone it’s just a trim panel that the clips have broken which covers the estate hinges so I plan on sticking a small piece of plastic over the hole then after sticking the trim onto the plastic

My van racking is screwed to the body where possible, the rest is stuck with sikaflex EBT and it hasn't moved a mill in 5 years, despite the effin speed humps I have to negotiate every 20 yards!

I suspect the question is because you already have CT1 available - But just thought i would mention , you can now get a plumbing version of CT1 - its called BT1 - and is now available in toolstation , i have used BT1 and its very good - but to be honest still early days to see the results , and was at a relatives. I plan on using in my shower later in the year

Superglue works perfectly on plastic.

Thanks everyone ordered the sikaflex EBT for a try as it’s only the car and not indoors, the holes are ovals around 20mm x 10mm so will stick a piece of plastic over them then a smear over the plastic to finish
