Hi I have been asking some questions for a while now and finally made my mind up to get a Texecom panel, now which model to get as I tried to compare on their website and they seem to say veritas is for a small residential property (2 bed flat ) but on here the elite seem to get most attention. So all I need is 6 pir’s and 1 door sensor and 1 keypad all fully wired with an iPhone capable app. So which panel would you go for, and could I ask why please ?
Thanks

Premier elite 24 is smallest texecom control panel that you can use the connect app with.
The veritas control is a bells only panel and NOT compatible with an app connection.

Thanks that’s the veritas scrubbed, onto the elite are the components the same in the range just expanding the zones, so if I got a 24 there would be no difference with say a 64 other than the amount of zones ?
Thanks

Correct
The prem elite range has common keypads, expanders etc that work on the whole range.
They are a hybrid control range which can be hard wired or wireless if correct device fitted.
Texecom 24 is 8 hard wired zones on panel and each keypad can have 2 zones.

Many thanks for clearing this up, this will let me get the basics ordered and I can potter about installing them, have it all newly hard wired.
Thanks

Its a question of what do you want from the system now or likely to in the future.

In a flat with no garage or sheds then the Premier Elite 24 is plenty, if however you had more than 2 separate areas ie house, sheds, workshop, garage then a 48 metal or a 64W might be the ticket with 4 areas, where the 64W is let down, is only having 4 hard wired zones at the panel, had this out numerous times with Texecom I cant offer a 64W Live panel upgrade from a Veritas V8 or similar as if it is more than half full).

Hi I only have a 2 bedroom flat with it’s own door onto the street so the elite 24 looks like the one I’m going for, just need to find time to do a shopping list as it looks like I will need to buy it all separately rather than a kit as I want the capture pir’s, can I ask to save another thread what size of battery would be best to get for an elite 24 ?
Thanks

If you see kit0040 the equivalent with capture would kit1040, so asking online sites like alert electrical maybe worth try.

In general capture kits are like for like and have the capture equivalents.

As capture is newly released there may not be many showing in the search results or on distributors web sites, but if you ask they may be able to provide you with details of the kits and lead times.
