Which toilet type

Hi all.

Sorry if this seems a stupid question. I am in the process of renewing my toilet and have a query about soil pipe location and type of toilet

I am renewing the plumbing, but copying the current pipework as the mains water inlet is right next to the soil pipe.

With the location of the soil pipe and pipework on the back wall, would this make it hard for a back to wall toilet with a furniture unit to be installed?

The previous toilet was a close coupled toilet. Which would you recommend?

Many thanks, Paul

Modern concealed WC’s have slim cisterns so you might be able to squeeze a flexible pan connector but it looks more likely you would need a close coupled unit unless you are prepared to build a frame or integrate a vanity unit
