Hi, first post here so please forgive me if it's a stupid question.

I'm refitting my ground floor bathroom, and the toilet currently is connected to a soil pipe that comes up out of the floor. The new toilet that i've got would be away from the wall by a good six inches given the location of the current soil pipe. Would there be any issue with my closing up the current soil pipe and taking a new soil pipe out straight out of the wall into the soil pipe stack that is just outside the bathroom?

Any helpl would be grately appreciated.

Thanks

shouldn't be a problem doing that.
what the floor in the bathroom now wood, screed etc ?

with screed will probably be easier to just fit a new branch to the stck as you said.
