Hi all,

I need to attach a 75x50mm softwood batten to a brick wall.

the 75mm face will be facing outwards, so the fixing needs to be screwed through the 50mm thickness of the wood.

Which is the best combination of plugs and screws.

Thanks
Dan

Those screw directly into brick wall? Are they self tapping and are they a secure fix?

Thanks

They are great, I use them for fixing timber to wall at the end of a fencing run. You will need a 6mm masonry bit and a T30 driver bit in a drill. The 6mm hole doesn't allow for the extra 1.5mm of the threads, so these self cut into the masonry and make a nice tight fit.
