Hi,
My dishwasher makes a grinding noise during its cycle. The sound comes from the bottom right hand corner of the appliance. Recently, it has been making a high pitched noise from the same area. Has anyone seen this problem before.

Hiya, I know it's a long shot but did you ever get it fixed or trace what it was. I've got allmost exactly the same noise.

Many thanks

The post is over 4 years old...if he hasn't fixed it by now he never will.
If the noise you hear happens under a wash cycle the problem is likely to be one of two things A: foreign object in the circulation pump (piece of glass/crockery) or B: defective impellor and/or seals. In many cases the impellor/seal kit is not available as a separate spare...you have to replace the whole motor. Post the machine service number if you need further information (looks something similar to this 854275510810).
