I hope someone will be able to help me with my problem:
Our 3 years old (and without problems so far) ADG 9540 wend dead - lights and motor is running, but no program starts - suddenly (well, it was not suddenly, our small son placed some toy under the door and it was a bit blocked while opening before it went dead...).
Repairman looked at it and without some detailed checks he said "control unit is gone, never seen it before, but it was your son who caused this". Well it can be true, but how can he be so sure, when he spent less then 10 minutes with us and it seem to be so unusuall to him. He just did no detailed checks, no measurements of tension or so...
Have someone ever seen this and is it worth to replace the whole control unit (if neccesary) or better buy new machine?
