My Whirlpool adp4601 keeps tripping out the main fuse box. It is part way through an intensive 70 degree cycle. The machine will not reset and after a couple of minutes of starting again it trips the rcd.
What can it be and what can I do ?
Thanks

does the circuit only trip when the appliance on, what type of circuit is it and what other equipment is used on this circuit and are they all on at the same time when trip occurs.

Yeah it only trips out when its on. the dishwasher is plugged in now but turned off via the button on the front, I left the socket live. Everything else is running fine.
Never had a problem with the dishwasher in 4 years and then this !

check the heater with a meter poss short should read about 30 ohms ish .
