I spent all day cleaning out pipes etc making sure that there's no blockage etc but this Whirlpool washing machine has packed in. Its 4 years old, is it worth have a look inside the machine? problem is I won't know what to look for. Anyone any ideas? The motor doesn't turn although there's some noise but no action!

Does the door lock? Does the drain pump run? If the door locks and the drum doesn't turn, check the carbon brushes in the motor.
