My whirlpool washing machine keeps stopping mid-cycle (not every time I use it though). If I switch the power off & on again it starts back up from where it left off. I've recently had the brush heads changed, so it shouldn't be due to that. Help!

Whirlpool AWM221 keeps stopping

It sounds like a problem with the on/off switch. Perhaps the switch is getting hot and going high resistance. Perhaps switching it off and on gives you a slightly different contact patch in the switch, enabling it to work until that bit gets burnt.
