Stops mid cycle showing F2 -does anyone know what is wrong with it?

F2 indicates a flooded base.
Tilt the machine back around 45 degrees to drain it.
If it happens again quite quickly then you have a leak.

thanks for the info - do you mean a flood inside the machine- is the machine failing to drain properly?f2 comes on everyime i try to use the dishwasher

No, not inside the machine where the dishes go. Under it, in the base.

just happened agin-doesnt look flooded but f2 came up- how do i check if it is flooding-could a tap or a screw be loose somewhere

YES i have tipped it back to drainit. Next wash though the same problem happens after about 15 mins. I understand i have a leak but what do you think i should do about it

You now know what's wrong with the machine. You now need to locate the source of the leak and carry out the necessary repair.

will the leak be coming through the salt container, through the floor of the internal unit, through the filter. Which is most likely/any way of finding testing where the leak is coming from

Sorry, no idea. It can be from almost anywhere. You'll have to remove the front panel below the door and watch for it leaking while it's running.

thanks for that- you obviously know your dishwashers. cant get the front off though- any practical advice or should i just throw it away

Front panel below the door is held by 4 torx screws, remove the 4 screws (you'll need the door open to get to the top 2) and the panel will drop away.

F8 is a water level failure. Could be related to leaking. Basically, it was full of water and the level has dropped. Can also be caused by overfoaming and syphoning.
