Have acquired an Ikea supplied built-in Whirlpool dishwasher.
It will not run. The detergent and rinse-aid dispensing drawer is a one piece unit and the door latch on the rinse-aid side has broken, meaning the spring loaded door cannot be closed. Is this sufficient to prevent it running? Is there a switch in there?
When turned on, the rinse programme light is on and cannot be altered, the start light flashes continuously, and a beeper sounds when the door is closed.
Should I need to replace the dispenser, how do these detach from the door for replacement?
