Whirlpool dishwasher

I have a WP ADP5540 Dishwasher which is not working. Although it fills with hot water and empties itself, the arms do not turn and no water is circulated. I think its the same pump that empties the dishwasher so its not the pump, is there a solenoid switch or something that changes the water flow direction that might be stuck?
