Whirlpool washing machine leaks on rinse cycle

I have a Whirlpool front loading washing machine AWO/ D405 which is about 3 years old. When it is on the rinse cycle, water comes out of the soap drawer. Can this problem be fixed as we have to mop up the floor after each wash?
