Whirlpool Washing machine Problems

Hi,

I bought a brand new Whirlpool AWOD 8727 at the weekend. On some cycles it sticks on "wrinse" and won't progress through the program.

What am I doing wrong please

since you have it, and i don't, what do the instructions say? (look for rinse hold)

and if they are not helpful why not call whirlpool?

A call might be a good idea, the instructions don't explain. The program stops on "wrinse," not "wrinse hold" which is the next step in the program.

Yes, there is only a cold inlet. It is turned on and the clothes get wet

Hi there,
I had a Whirlpool washing machine a few years back. I had a lot of bother with it, (can't remember the model number), but the drum was faulty and then I had it repaired at a cost of £60
Unfortunately, the machine started leaking half an hour after the service engineer left. In the end he told me it was "kapuut" and in the end I had to replace it with another make.
I would never buy another Whirlpool machine, I now have an Electrolux-AEG and it (touch wood!) has been great.
By the way, the Whirlpool machine was only 4 years old.
