what could be causing a noise in the hot water pipes that makes a whistling type of sound. This always happens when the boilers on for hot water/central heating, but has only been like this for a few weeks.Any ideas.
 
Perhaps its whistling because its happy?

Or to be more relevant, since we have no idea what your heating system comprises why dont you at least tell us the make and model of boiler?
