why do people support Reform when they have no idea of their policies

Why do people support Reform when they have no idea of their policies?

As this is a DIY forum, I'll try to offer an appropriate analogy:
You have three cordless drills in front of you. There's a couple of others from Aldi and Lidl, but you know they're not worth trying.
So, looking at the three in front of you, you know that the first one stops working whenever you REALLY need it, the second gives you a nasty electric shock whenever you pick it up, and the third is brand new and still in its box. You have to give it a go don't you? Might be as good as the old Black and Decker you used back in the 70s!
Er... sorry. What were we talking about again?
the only problem with your analogy is that the third seems brand new but when you open it, it turns out to be just an old drill but repainted to look like a new drill, not only that its not even a good old drill, just the sh1ttiest model in the range

Reform arent new, they are just re branded Tories

That's a good analogy.

Repackaged faulty goods

latest figures show net migration down 69% under a Labour government

oh dear thats ruined the Reform partied flagship hate policy

Ah, so you were tempted to open the box! ;-)

Are you suggesting that Keir Starmer is the DeWalt of drills?
He's the Bob the Builder drill my grandson had when he was 3.
No Im saying Farge and reform is the repackaged tories.

They werent good as tories, so why would you buy the repackaged product

When I went to London on a school trip in the 70s, I took a kagoul. They called it a 'kag-in-a-bag'.
Nowadays children need to take a stab vest.
It's a cultural difference you see.
Brits resort to fisty cuffs, whereas other nationalities prefer to... slice you up. Sorry, bit graphic.
Anyway, I'll take my chances with Reform UK thanks.
Things [literally] couldn't get any worse.

But they can.

Getting people the services and infra stucture we deserve, and even better wages, would improve society quicker than any 3 word policy will do.

Lack of money (in relation to cost of living) is the biggest driver of unease long term. What needs addressing is the ability to live on the wages paid, not blame others for the problems we have.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and guess that, like Rachel Reeves, you're not a professional economist.
Basically, all economies (personal, household, national, etc) are based on the same principle; i.e. You need to have more incomings than outgoings, or said economy goes tits up.
An abundance of workers allows you to save, whereas an abundance of shirkers will render you bankrupt, at which point you become vulnerable.
Agreed?
