Will an anti syphon eliminate blowback from sink?

We had a nice compact straight through bottle trap but upon emptying the bath the sink blows it's load all over the bathroom.

An anti syphon bottle trap won't fit in the pedestal so I'm left with the option of an anti syphon P or pedestal trap.

Will these definately eliminate the blowback?

Use a HepVo waste valve, it'll fit in your pedestal and will eliminate the problems you're experiencing

There's something wrong with your soil & waste system if this is happening.
There's certain rules & guidelines regarding drains, soil & waste pipes.

Went for the hepvo, hopefully the seal won't end up over the floor anymore!

The HepVo may solve the symptoms, but it's a bodge as the issue is still there, even the HepVo may be overwhelmed but being a dry trap seal you won't get the water seal being blown out all the time. The waste design needs looked at tho to make sure it's doesn't occur in the first place. Correct Pipe sizing and waste pipe installation is needed!
