I`m looking at graphics cards for my new PC & the nvidia 6600gt seems like the one for me, but it has sli for running two GPU`s together but my m/board isn`t capable of sli & I wondered if it would work on my m/board just as a plain old video card?

Eeeeeh, I remember the days when SLI stood for "Scan-Line Interleave" with dual video cards... Did you do Voodoo? ;)

Yup, I remember them days. One card drawing the odd lines and the other doing the even. A lot of the processing was still performed by the CPU though. Nvidia SLI, (Scalable Link Interface) is a major improvement, being purely digital.

I can see a lot of upgrades coming my way :D :D
