Hiya,

We're thinking of putting frosted window film on the bottom panes of our 2 old sash windows in the front room for a bit a privacy without having to draw the curtains completely.

Does anyone have any experience with window film? Some sites sell a roll of film that you have to cut to size yourself, others cut it exactly for you, and then others can come out and install it. Obviously price reflects the choice.

Is it a huge hassle to do yourself? Will we need loads of special tools for it?

Ta,

Kanina

if its the stuff ive used before, its fairly simplessssssss to do,
pre cut the film to a rough size, wash the window and make sure its clean, then wash again leaving the suds on the glass, place the film against glass and squezze the water/suds out to get it uniform and flat and using a stanley knife cut the film tightly into the edges of the window, wipe dry and jobs a gooden.

take your time so to ensure a good job, rush it and it will look cr.p
