i have bought a apartment with a bay window and notice a leak from under the flashing but the lead on the inside of the window is starting to have a white like powder on it now is that bad
yes a leak is bad and should be sorted before it does expensive damage to the fabric of the house. if you can get up on a ladder and have look you might be able to sort it yourself with a bit of common sense.
the white powder is lead carbonate, could be caused by condensation or water from the leak if it is running down the inside of the glass?
