Hi There,
Before carrying out any necessary remedial work, can anyone suggest how I can determine what is causing the problem with poor sound insulation and slight drafts, i.e sufficient sealant not applied around external frame (where it meets the wall) or around the internal side of the frame, or possibly the rubber window seals themselves?
I don't want to spend time and money replacing all the sealant, only to find that the problem still exists and is caused by dodgy window seals, for example.
Any tips/tricks???
I guess what I'm really asking is, how would YOU determine the source of the problem?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Rob.
