But agreed WEP is shocking security but some security camera only accept WEP so it may be the only option.

Thanks for the info everyone.

I can use WEP, WPA, WPA2, but right now I can't get the router working with the video software/DVR recorder.

Can you confirm

1. You are able to connect to the wireless/network without issue ?
2. Have you setup the port forwarding for the relevant port required by the DVR on the router ? So you are able to connect via the net ?
