HI,

This has probably been answered before but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have any tips about running some wires behind a skirting board. I've got a new build flat and I've put my LCD TV on the wall, I've hidden the wires behind a metal casing from the TV to the skirting board and now I would like to take the skirting off and run the wires along behind for about 2 metres to where I have the DVD, powerpoint and aerial socket.

I guess the key things I'm concerned about are;

1. How is the skirting fixed to the wall and will I be able to prise it off without destroying the skirting or the wall?
2. Will I be able to punch a hole in the plaster and then refit the skirting over the top?

Any tips or warnings gratefully received

Thanks, Luke
