wiring up a programmer

Hello

Trying to wire up a new programmer on a s-plan {fully pumped system}
There is no room stat .
programmer is a drayton lp241

The owner said she had to put h/w on to get the c/h on.

All i can see wrong is that the programmer c/h on is wired up to the mid-postion valve white wire.

Any help would be great cheers paul

Make of boiler and is there a cyl stat?

yes there is a cylinder stat. boiler is a vokera 12-48 r.s. mynute
sealed system with indirect cylinder{fed by cwsc}
i can hear the valve open when i click c/h only, but it is not firing up the boiler.
when i click onto h/w and c/h boiler fires up and both h/w and c/h work.

YOu've probably missed out the wire from the programmer HW OFF to the grey, or the cyl stat to the grey.

Think you are spot on.
There is live,neutral,earth.

H/w on to cylinder stat c

C/h on to white mid-postion valve

but there is no h/w off wire to cylinder stat 1 and grey mid postion valve
