Wiser thermostat delay, normal or not?

I at the moment have a problem, with micro switch sticking, so I am listening to the central heating in case it sticks until I get around to changing it. So when turning up temperature and boiler had a delay turning on, went to check, it was OK, but noted it takes near 5 minutes from turning up heating, to light on hub coming on.

Is this normal, or is it a fault? The delay is no problem, just wondered if normal or not.
