When I put my heating on from cold by switching on the programmer or by turning up the room stat there is a delay of some 5 minutes before the boiler starts up. The boiler is an oil fired worcester danesmoor 12/14 and the system was converted from gravity fed to a sealed system a few months ago. The installer tells me the delay is normal but cannot give the reason for the delay hence my uncertainty. Any other info would be appreciated.
