Hello,

I have a worcester heatslave 12/14 floor standing oil boiler.

The problem is, when I turn on the hot tap for a short while, the boiler attempts to fire up. These boilers have a storage tank inside, so for short water take off time, say, to wash your hands, I don't want the boiler to kick in. Is there a way to add a delay timer in the flow switch circuit to stop this happening?

A delay timer would use the same energy and just make it fire a bit later. Rather pointless really.

I think you are really asking whether various small demands could be aggregated to prevent regular boiler firing. This would be more complicated, as the boiler would not know whether the next time the tap was opened it was to run a bath or wash the hands.
