Wobbly Decking Handrail

Hi hope you don't mind if I piggy back onto this thread.

I just had decking constructed to the rear of my house, size is around 2.5x4m
The 4m side handrail only has one newel and we are finding this especially shakey. Due to the design none of the handrails are secured to anything solid which doesn't help matters!

Can anyone offer any advice, I was thinking of adding in a couple of stiffeners at the bottom of the newel but not sure how effective these would be.
