Hi, bit stuck trying to fix wobble my tap has developed. I have tried tightening the long brass screw underneath but it doesn’t move, not sure if this is because it’s already tight or I can’t get enough leverage due to awkward position. Any thoughts? Is there a specific tool to tighten without taking tabs off? Thanks!
Doesn’t look like a setup I’ve seen before, but it looks like it’s the thin brass screw that should tighten it up, with a screwdriver. Usually they have a threaded shank, and nut that gets tightened with a monobloc spanner.
I think its a Bristan easyfit tap. If I remember correctly, you will have to use an allen key to remove the tap body (after shutting the water off) then tighten from the top.
