Hi All,

I have a wooden fence at the front of my house which will be replaced with a wall in the next 9-12 months. In the meantime, one of the posts is moving. I've seen various specialist supports that can be purchased over the internet and hammered alongside the post and then screwed in but I was wondering if there is something I can pick up from a screwfix or a DIY shed that will give it the necessary support and stability.

Thanks in advance.

There are concrete repair spurs that my local fencing co sells
They did it with a bag of sand/cement and two coach screws.

You basically dig a hole next to the post, insert it and screw it together, then add the cement
Only works if there isn't a massive concrete donut underground
