Wood floor finish options in bathroon

Hi

I have redwood floorboards in bathroom, , bare wood never treated, sanded now and ready for a finish. Varnish and oil are the obvious options. I prefer oil because it is easier to re apply in the future.
Would any floor oil do? Any other considerations/ideas?

I would use an Osmo Polyx finish like

Osmo Polyx Oil Original Clear is a clear, glossy to matt wood finish made from natural Oils & Waxes. It is Abrasion & Stain Resistant & is a Water Repellent.

as this will work on Redwood Pine. You can also get tints in this product if you want to add a slight colour. It is slightly expensive but a seriously good quality oil.
