We have old pine floorboards in our living room (1920 but not great quality) with great gaps between and a rotten patch in one corner,
covered by a rotting carpet. We want practical, but good looking flooring and were wondering what would be best, bearing in mind we
have an incontinent hound so a bit of mopping up would be required on a fairly regular basis if/when he misses the rubber backed
mats.
I would love a wooden floor but I'm beginning to think it might be out of the question.
Any ideas/suggestions anyone?
