wood for loft conversions .tanalised or vac -vac

hi dont relayy know where this belongs on this forum so i guess this is a stab in the dark .

Whats the difference between tanalised and vac-vac . and does building control favor one treatment more than the other or rather do they approve of both methods of treatment ....... need to know very soon cos Have placed an order with supplier who only does vac -vac .they say its the same odds , if not tell me quick and i will change supplier to one who provides tanalised .
Also its all rough wood at this stage once the stuff has been treated . ( understand its a water based treatment process anyway ) how long should you leave it to dry before you start fixing it . (I intend setting it in the loft for a few days , please say if it needs longer than this .

I'd use vac-vac, I don't know what's in it, but the tanalised contains chromated copper a-r-s-enate. See this for more information. This gives some info about vac-vac.

I had to put the "-" signs in above, as the word without was deemed offensive and appeared as **** (what is the world coming to? if we were American we could write ass and it would be ok)
