im currently redecorating and have just stained a (previously bare) wooden window ledge with dulux protective wood sheen light oak (solvent based). Before I started staining there was a small mark in the middle of the wood which I lightly sanded away, since staining the sanded area is now showing as much darker than the surrrounding area (see picture) is there anything I can do to blend the sanded area in as it looks pretty bad atm, thanks!
