Wood T & G Vaneered Flooring

What is the proper way of installing wood flooring on a concrete floor? Is it best to just lay the flooring and use cork expansion strips in the wall gap or should it be bonded to the concrete sub floor? I've heard of various ways of approaching this? Any help would be grateful.
