I have recently purchased an IslandII woodburner and connected to a 90 degree flue using fire cement from the woodburner collar to the flue. The flue has a crimped end and I also coated with cement when inserting into the collar. When heating up and cooling, the woodburner has an annoying clicking where metal is expanding. Does anyone know whether this type of connection may be causing the clicking and whether I should connect the flue in a different way that may then stop the clicking?[/list]

You can get a fireproof rope to seal it, so it stays flexible
