I have bought some WE oak flooring (Elka Wood 200mm slotting fit) to lay on the ground floor of a modern house with concrete floor. The floor is level and dry. The instructions suggest glueing or nailing in the case of a wooden sub floor. Questions:
1. Should I glue or lay as a floating floor?
2. Do I lay a membrane of some sort on the concrete? if so I cannot glue?
3. Secret nailing into concrete?
4. Intend to use cork expanding strips for the gaps?
Any advice will be much appreciated.
